The Order of St. Giles

St. Giles. Most believe him to be the patron saint of
lepers but the Order bearing his name has evolved into something far more.
Originally it was the lepers of the world, the shunned, the dispossessed, the
outcasts made so through no fault of their own. The Order provided food
and comfort to the afflicted and spiritual guidance but when the cure for this
terrible disease was discovered, the Order became a hollow shell with no reason
for being. How very appropriate. The Order, founded sometime in the
12th Century consists solely of what may be the world's most shunned creatures;
victims of the vampires of the Red Court. Not quite vampire, not quite
human, they battle not only those that made them but their own urges to take a
life and drink the blood thereby becoming what they seek to kill.
